People often ask me how I save so much of our income, and I don’t really know how to answer without going into an hour long speech about all the little things I do. So I wanted to put it all here, in one place, to share with the world.
I realize that everything I do will not work for everyone’s lifestyles. For example, I would love to be one of those families that bikes everywhere or just has one vehicle. But it wouldn’t work for us, since we are miles away from the nearest store, restaurant, library, etc. But every little bit counts, and everything you can do to cut your expenses can add up in a big way.

I saw someone post this on someone else’s facebook, so I checked it out and I think you did a great job! I think if people ran their house like you do yours (financially), they would be in better shape!
